Tag Agreement Requirements

Six University of California (UC) sites offer guaranteed accreditation to students at all California Community Colleges (CACs). Interested students must meet campus-specific requirements to qualify for a TAG. By participating in a TAG program, students can secure admission to a specific UC campus. UCSB DAY requires that specific requirements be met before the end of the fall semester. We will wait for you to apply for your UC application until November 30, 2020 and complete the TAU in January, before starting to review the applications – day and regular decision. All decisions will be published in April 2021. 2. Complete all remaining course work and gPA requirements in your TAG agreement. Day or non-tag applicants will receive their decision to admit from UCSB on the same date in April 2021. Our TAG criteria include specific requirements that must be met by the end of fall 2020 and we will not make any authorization decisions until we have your fall grades. Some majors are considered selective and have additional requirements for all applicants.

Day requirements may exceed these main selective course requirements, both the essential requirements and the selective TAG requirements must be met.
